Hello all, a quick question for everyone about a possible head shot / portrait photo session special offer for the Miss Ohio and Miss Ohio’s Outstanding Teen Contestants and their families.

As hopefully everyone knows I try to help all contestants whenever and however I can as time permits.

After talking to a few of the contestants and their families this past weekend at the Miss Mansfield, Miss North Central Ohio, and Miss Mansfield’s Outstanding Teen programs I was asked about my photo pricing / availability as some of the contestants would like to get new head shots for their autograph cards, local programs, ads for the Miss Ohio program book, etc.

As is, I am currently scheduled for March 10, 2012 to do 2 (and possibly 3) head shot / portrait studio photo sessions for Miss Ohio and Miss Ohio’s Outstanding Teen contestants here in Mansfield, Ohio.

Anyway, I am offering these two (possibly 3) head shot portrait photo sessions to the contestants for a special rate of $195.00 (typically my rates start at $295) for a 2-3 hour studio session. This special rate includes unlimited outfit changes, a high resolution photo DVD with 30-40 edited poses, release rights for prints, an online secure gallery (1 year) for viewing / ordering prints for family and friends, and a low resolution photo CD for social networks.

So here is my question / offer. I am thinking about offering this special to two other contestants on Saturday, March 10 and if there is interest to 4-5 other contestants on Sunday, March 11. So, I am wondering if there is interest in such a special from other contestants and their families.

If anyone is interested, I am going to limit this offer to only Miss Ohio and Miss Ohio’s Outstanding Teen Contestants. Each session will be two to three hours and will include everything described above. Also, if you would like to bring along your family, local director, etc. that would be great as well.

All sessions will be done in an on location studio here in Mansfield, OH. Finally, if anyone is interested I am going to have to limit it to the number of contestants mentioned above due to just the time involved in taking, editing, organizing, etc.  such a large collection of photos.

For those who haven’t shot photos with me before I will let you know that all photos are of course professional quality and I shoot in a fun / fast paced atmosphere. In a typical session, I will shoot an average of 300-400 photos. These photos are then edited down to the “oh wow” as I call them category of the final 30-40 poses that are included on your high resolution Photo DVD and secure online gallery.

We were happy to volunteer our sound, design, and photography services to the 2012 Miss Mansfield, Miss North Central Ohio & Miss Mansfield’s Outstanding Teen Scholarship Programs this past Saturday, February 4, 2012.

All in all, it was a very busy and long day but in the end lots of fun to see the wonderful and diverse section of talent from across the state of Ohio. Thank you to everyone who helped support the program and to all of the volunteers who worked so hard to put on such a special program. Finally, thank to all of the contestants and their families for being a part of this year’s programs.

As you’ve not doubt noticed there are a few things missing from the web site right now. Rest assured that we are slowly uploading all the existing photo galleries from the old Flash Based web site. With several thousand photos to organize, update, and upload it is taking us slightly longer than we had hoped to bring you our photo galleries of work. However we hope to have everything back into shape in the next week to week and half.
